Dormition of the Theotokos (Panagia Vyssianis) is ituated in a peaceful natural setting in the Serres region and is associated with older local devotional traditions, although its current form was mainly shaped during the 20th century. The church reflects traditional Macedonian ecclesiastical architecture, with a modest exterior and simple iconographic decoration inside.
